KH - "Looking At Your Pager"

Four Tet has shared a new song under his KH moniker (those are also his initials). The song prominently samples 3LW's iconic "No More."

A favorite of his live shows for quite some time, Four Tet finally uploaded a recording of the track dubbed "Looking At Your Pager" on his KH Bandcamp profile after posting to his Instagram "the sample has been cleared," last April. 3LW rose to fame with their self-titled debut in 2000 which featured the classics "No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)" and "Playas Gon' Play." Adding classic techno and house undertones, Four Tet brakes the song apart with a slowed down vocal over breaking beats. The tribute here feels heavy enough to consider it more of a remix or perhaps even a cover of the track played in Four Tet's own style, but regardless, as great as it is to enjoy as a single, you can only imagine the sensation when it's played over massive speakers to an enthralled audience.
