Songs of 2019: Q1

We're a quarter of the way through the year. These were some songs I really enjoyed that were released between January 1 and March 31 of 2019.

Sky Ferreira - "Downhill Lullaby"

It's been six years since Sky Ferreira dropped her last album, Night Time, My Time. Today, she shared her first solo single, "Downhill Lullaby," in as many years.

Tame Impala - "Patience"

Tame Impala have shared a new single, "Patience," their first since 2015's Currents and the b-sides that followed.

Broken Social Scene - "Can't Find My Heart"

As one may have guessed, Broken Social Scene are following up last month's Let's Try the After - Vol 1 with another EP called... Let's Try the After - Vol 2 and it's out April 13 via Arts & Crafts (both EPs will be sold together on Record Store Day 2019).

This Is Not This Heat played lots of This Heat songs as they came to (Le) Poisson Rouge on the road to Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN.

Vampire Weekend - "Sunflower"

Last week, Vampire Weekend premiered two more tracks from their upcoming record, Father of the Bride. Today, the band shared a video for one of the new tracks, "Sunflower."

The National - "You Had Your Soul With You"

The National are back with a new record called I Am Easy To Find and it's out May 17 via 4AD .
