The Raconteurs played Baby's All Right


The Racontuers have released their first new record in 11 years and to celebrate, the band are on a crash course through New York City. They came through Baby's All Right in Williamsburg on Saturday for a night of rock and roll bliss.

Radiohead - MINIDISCS [HACKED]


A few weeks ago, one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the past thirty years was hacked. Recordings made on the road and in the studio by Radiohead during the OK Computer days were held for ransom. Instead of caving-in on the captures request, the band made them available online for 18 days with the option to purchase them for life. I spent a few weeks listening through the sixteen plus hours of recordings rediscovering one of the most influential bands of my life.

Burial - "Claustro"


Burial has shared a new EP called Claustro / State Forest which features two tracks of the same name. After premiering "Claustro" on the BBC last month, he has shared the song as well as the secong track, "State Forest," on streaming services.

Beach House played Brooklyn Steel


Beach House are currently on a "world tour" which leads up to their performance at this year's Bonnaroo. They played two nights in Brooklyn along the way and in support of last year's 7.

Primavera Sound 2019


As music festivals in the U.S. start to feel more like vacation experiences and less about the music, I took off to Spain to attend Primavera Sound, one of the last major festivals where music is the center of focus and one where artists actually seem to enjoy themselves.
