Songs of 2021: Q1

As time slowly progresses, one positive of late has been the abundance of new music. With the first three months of the year behind us, checkout the best of what's dropped this winter.

2021 has been off to a great start for new releases and the rest of the year is looking optimistic not only for more albums, but hopefully a safe return to live shows as well. As artists and the rest of the world continue after a more than a year of quarantine, more fruits of artistic label have begun to emerge. It's always hard to capture every bit of new music as it comes out, here are ten records that have stood out over the past few months as well as a playlist of all the best tracks.

JULIEN BAKER | Little Oblivions
FLOATING POINTS / PHAROAH SANDERS / LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA | Promises
CHRIS CORSANO / BILL ORCUTT | Made Out of Sound
ARMAND HAMMER / THE ALCHEMIST | Haram
SUN JUNE | Somewhere
JAZMINE SULLIVAN | Heaux Tales
NICK CAVE / WARREN ELLIS | Carnage
