Songs of 2021: Q2

As we hit the half-way mark of the year, things seem to be improving and in a lot of cases, we're starting to get back to normal. Presenting the best songs of the past three months that should help usher in the summer and next phases ahead of us.

Austin's Sasha and the Valentines released their debut album So You Think You Found Love? earlier this year and have now shared a video for the single "Cry All the Time."

Kamasi Washington - "Sun Kissed Child"

Kamasi Washington has shared a new track called "Sun Kissed Child" from Liberated, an EP in The Undefeated’s Music for the Movement series.

Tyler, the Creator - "LUMBERJACK"

Tyler, the Creator has shared his first piece of new music since 2019. It's a track called "LUMBERJACK."

Yves Tumor - "Jackie"

Yves Tumor follow's their great 2020 record with a new, one-off (for now) single called "Jackie."

The Strokes played Irving Plaza

Live music is back in New York City! As part of a rally supporting Maya Wiley for the next Mayor of NYC, the city's very own The Strokes played the first full-capacity, vaccine-required concert to happen in the five boroughs since March 2020.
