Jack White - "Dollar Bill"

As he tends to do, Jack White has subtly announced a new album due this summer. It's called Frozen Charlotte and the lead single is "Dollar Bill."

When Jack White announced his last album, he did so by slyly slipping copies of the vinyl in an unmarked sleeve into the bags of customers at Third Man Records before slowly spilling the beans via various secret live shows around the country. This week, he announced his newest record in a brief clip that was part of a video series via Third Man and today he's dropped a brand new single on the world. "Dollar Bill" is the typical blues tune you've surely come to expect from White and checks all the boxes of maximum, raw guitar sounds with dynamite drumming that's perfectly packaged into a tight rock and roll banger. It's loud, in your face, and will surely be enhanced when White rips into it live on stage. As usual, White is a master of his craft and even though this is a fairly typical and uneventful track from White (complimentary), it's still roaring with energy and just another example of the many tricks still up Jack's sleeve.

Frozen Charlotte is out July 10.
