Songs of 2020: Q3

A weird and terrifying summer is behind us and with that, I've compiled my favorite songs from the past three months.

Slowly, but surely, 2020 is coming to an end and while I am not sure a brighter future is actually in store, the music is helping. Per recent traditions, I've put together a playlist of some real gems from the past three months of the year. This one really covers the spectrum of sounds and features the meditative synths from Future Islands, the narrative folk of Bill Callahan, the incendiary timeliness of Sault, the pop sensibilities of Shamir, the charged up punk of Metz, and the ultimate smash hit that is "WAP." While things seem to continuously fall apart, I hope this at can at least provide a source of joy.
