Noise-punks No Age are back with a new album, the follow-up to 2018's Snares Like a Haircut. The new record, Goons Be Gone, is out June 5 via Drag City. Listen to the first single, "Turned to String," below.
"Turned to String" finds No Age back to their classic, raw sound that left hasn't felt present in their music since 2012's excellent Everything in Between. A back-to-basics track, if you will, the song is revved up and rocking, but still accessible and ready to be blasted at ear-bleeding volumes. It's the most confident the duo has sounded in quite some time and a welcome return to their simple, yet powerful soundscapes.
