If you have, you might think you're listening to a new Mazzy Star song when you hit play on "Moment," the new single from Fine Glindvad Jensen, who releases music under her first name. Mazzy Star is exceptional and this new song is also pretty good! Following her excellent debut album from last year (one of 2024's best records), Fine has shared a handful of tracks this year that keep her slow burn aglow, each of them a new cosmic twist of avant-pop that dips into blissful dream-pop and down-tempo trip-hop moments. This track puts languid guitar in the forefront, slowly spiraling around her voice which oozes like honey as these dusty melodies get swept up in her ethereal charm. It's a stark and almost barren tune, but it still has lots to offer through its soft, quiet power and really makes "Moment" the moment.
