The Alchemist has long been known as one of the most innovative producers in hip-hop having done beats for rappers ranging from Currency to Freddie Gibbs to Kendrick Lamar and now he's linked-up with Armand Hammer, once again, for a new record out tomorrow, November 7. Armand Hammer is the duo of billy woods and E L U C I D, and they're two of the hottest in the game. Over the past five years, together and on their own, they've dropped some of the best music in the genre including woods' record from earlier this year, Golliwog. The final single ahead of their latest collaboration features another frequent guest in Earl Sweatshirt starting things off on the track over dusty jazz grooves, soulful croons, and droopy piano beats that give each rapper the platform they need to drop their thought provoking rhymes. It's an intriguing sample and adds so much to the already excellent work these three can conjure up together and hints at yet another stone cold classic is coming our way.
Mercy is out November 7.
