DARKSIDE - "One Last Nothing"

DARKSIDE have shared a new one-off single, "One Last Nothing," following this year's great record, Nothing.

Earlier this year, DARKSIDE expanded to a trio when Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington officially welcomed drummer Tlacael Esparza to join the band. The trio released the great album Nothing and played a bunch of shows too. Now, as they wind down the year, the trio has shared a new song called "One Last Nothing." It was one of the last tracks they recorded for the record Nothing, so while the name itself isn't too exciting, the actual track is another pristine example of the group's ability to weave percolating rhythms with expansive guitar work. The usual ghostly vocals and droning sounds blend exquisitely with the lush electronic textures while the live drumming gives it that extra special touch. As usual, there's elements of funk, krautrock, and dub that are swirled through a psychedelic haze that gives it that DARKSIDE feeling.
