Pulp - "Got to Have Love"

Pulp have shared the second single, "Got to Have Love" from their upcoming reunion album More.

30 years ago today, Pulp released "Common People," a generational anthem and one of Britpop's best numbers. It's a rousing classic and one of the best songs to experience in a live setting. Now, the band has shared "Got to Have Love" from their upcoming album which will be their first in twenty-four years. While this isn't on the same scale as "Common People," it is a total banger of a disco infused rock number that may turn out to be another absolute monster of a track when the band is rocking out to it on stage. A shuffling drum beat and sharp guitar riffs set the tone before a sparkling rush takes over the song hits its infectious groove. Jarvis Cocker is in prime form here as he dishes out these sharp and vivid lyrics over such a burst of shimmering tones. It's a dazzling tune that rushes to life with pure sonic bliss and surges towards a bonafide finish of unabashedly dance-worthy pleasures. Striking with passion and fervor, it crystalized the maximum power of a band that never got their fair due here in the states, but one that will firmly remind you or inform you for the fist time, just why this band has such a devoted and loyal following for all these years. You've got to have love and Pulp are here to make sure you really feel it.

More is out June 6.
