Afro-jazz collective have been gathering some steady steam over the years. They first made their mark with their self-titled EP in 2019 before gifting us their great full-length debut, Who Could Be More?. Now, the group is prepping their sophomore album for this summer and the latest single, "Closer to Me," is an easy-going tune that flows over twinkling melodies, gentle rhythms, and soulful vocals. This is a meditative and chill tune, not one of their more funk-forward jams, and the dreamy guitar noodling adds some cool textures to the harmonious groove.
