Following her stunning debut, 2014's LP1, FKA twigs has surprised released her latest EP, M3LL155X.
Containing the previously shared "Figure 8" and "Glass & Patron" the five song EP also includes three new tracks as well as a 16 minute accompanying video (described in a press release as "an aggressive statement conceptualising the process of feeling pregnant with pain, birthing creativity and liberation"). The EP is dark and intense with less of the pop overtones that floated out of her debut full-length. Her songwriting is as complex and twisted as ever here and marks another excellent chapter from twigs.
