As we get closer to the release of Routine, the collaboration between Jason Dungan (sometimes known as Blue Lake) and Johan Carøe, the duo has shared another piece from the album and this one is another ethereal gem that buzzes with the vibrations of Carøe's cello as he bows and plucks the instrument for palpable foundations that let Dungan layer some stretched out grooves. This one boarders on environmental music, its stark yet shimmering melodies and its unhurried pace. A meditative piece for sure and one that can let you think for endless amounts of time as it slowly unravels itself to display sincere reflections of the moment and time.
Routine is out September 25.
