LCD Soundsystem played The Colbert Report

By now I'm sure you've heard that on April 2nd, LCD Soundsystem will play their last ever show and it will take place at the world's most famous area, Madison Square Garden (Apparently the Strokes will play host the night before?). The week leading up to the show will see the band playing four nights at the smaller Terminal 5 in a week long final send off. Last night, the band played their final television performance on The Colbert Report. After three epic albums, these guys will be sorely missed.

Joanna Newsom played Jimmy Fallon

In what seems like quite an unlikely pair, but then again she is dating Andy Samberg, Joanna Newsom made her second television appearance the other night when she was the musical guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. After releasing the daring, yet amazing, triple album Have One On Me she seems to be conquering all musical endeavors as of late, so why not late night tv? New Grizzly Bear - "Two Weeks"

Grizzly Bear continue to impress me as they performed a brand new song entitled "Two Weeks" on Letterman last night. The amazing harmonies and poppy melodies are once again presented in an interesting and unique manner that make Grizzly Bear one of my favorite current bands. Can't wait to catch these guys at All Points West in a few weeks.



Also according to a rumor on productshopnyc Barack Obama may be making a special guest appearance at Lollapolooza to introduce Kanye West for his headlining slot. Sounds pretty good to me.
